Childcare Support
Nurtured Pathways offers gentle, grounded childcare support rooted in early childhood education, relationship-based care, and an understanding of how safety, consistency, and attuned presence support children’s nervous systems and emotional development.
Childcare services are designed to support families needing reliable evening, overnight, and extended care while ensuring children experience calm, respectful, developmentally supportive care.
This offering is especially supportive for early childhood educators, caregivers, and parents who give so much of their time and energy caring for others and need dependable support for work, rest, errands, or personal time.
Care Approach
Care is responsive, relationship-centered, and guided by nearly two decades of experience in early childhood education. Influences include responsive caregiving practices, social-emotional learning, and respectful care approaches that prioritize children’s emotional safety, autonomy, and connection.
Children are supported through calm presence, consistent boundaries, play-based engagement, and developmentally appropriate expectations.
Sliding scale options are offered throughout childcare services to help keep care accessible while sustaining high-quality, relationship-centered support.
Childcare Offerings
Evening & Daytime Care
Gentle, responsive childcare is offered during daytime and evening hours. This care is ideal for appointments, work blocks, date nights, or caregiver rest.
Rates:
$22 per hour for one child +$2 per hour for each additional child
Overnight Care
Overnight care provides families with support during nighttime hours while maintaining consistency and comfort for children. Active or waking care is billed at the standard hourly rate, with a flat night rate applied once children are asleep.
Rates:
Standard hourly rate applies during waking or active care hours.
Flat Night Rate:
• $75 per night for infant care
• $50 per night for children 18 months and older
Weekend Blocks & Multi-Night Care
Weekend and extended overnight care is offered using bundled, sliding-scale weekend rates designed to support accessibility while sustaining this work. These bundled rates allow families to receive consistent, relationship-centered care across longer stretches of time.
Standard Weekend Block is Friday 3:00 PM – Sunday 4:00 PM (Additional days may be added with a custom quote.)
Sliding Scale Weekend Rates
Rates are per family (not per child).
Sustained Tier — $250–$350
For families who need a more accessible rate.
Balanced Tier — $350–$500
A mid-range option for families with moderate financial capacity.
Nurture Tier — $500–$750
For families with greater capacity who are able to pay the full bundled weekend rate and help support accessibility and the mission of Nurtured Pathways.
Weekend blocks typically include daytime caregiving responsibilities, meal support, bedtime routines, and overnight supervision. Additional household responsibilities, travel, or specialized care needs may adjust rates.

Credentials & Experience
• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Step 9 — Oregon Registry Online (ORO)
• CPR & First Aid Certified
• Nearly 18 years of experience in early childhood education
• Training in social-emotional learning
• Background in yoga, somatic awareness, and nervous-system-informed family support
• Forest school and nature-based education experience
Availability & Service Area
Childcare is offered primarily in Central Oregon and Eastern Oregon. Availability varies seasonally and scheduling is limited.
